Looks like finally Google is finally going to allowing paypal payments to be made on the android marketplace! This is great news and should open up more people to paid apps as not many young people have credit cards but they have paypal accounts. Still "rumored" however so I wont post links yet until its 100%

Last I knew, you had to have a credit card to have a paypal account. I was very mad about it.

I don't have a personal credit card anymore and every payment comes right out of my bank account. I am pretty sure I had to do the snail mail confirmation at the time when I first signed up as I did not have a personal card then either. I have had a credit card attached to it at one point thou but its been so long since i signed up I dont even recall.


I will check my account out later, perhaps I have an old card listed in there

EDIT I checked my account and I have no credit card listed and I routinely spend $1000 thru paypal so not sure how mine worked and yours did not Hugh

Anyone get the new version Android Market yet? My HTC Desire has not got the pushed download but my friends Motorola Milestone got it a few days ago.

I added the new market last week to my Hero after flashing 2.2, I will have a look if its actually in there now.

No support for Paypal even with the new market, booo.

Yeah, just saw the new version and Paypal isn't listed. I'll be glad when they add it.
