Hello everyone,

I have an Antennas Direct Clearstream 2 mounted on my roof which is about 31 feet above the ground since 2015. I get all the usual channels I'm supposed to get except for ABC.
Two weeks ago WFFF channel 44 went down during the June 23-26 period. During that time I rescanned my Samsung TV and was able to get ABC, I was so happy it was like winning the lottery. That was short lived. I had ABC for half a day. When WFFF channel 44 came back, ABC was gone. If FOX and ABC are on the same broadcasting tower, shouldn't I be able to get both channels? Why was I able to receive ABC for a short while?
Thanks for any feedback.

Because ABC is on a different frequency: channel 7 actually. And WFFF is on UHF which is way higher in frequency.

To get both channels, you would need a VHF-Hi UHF antenna and a line of sight to Mount Mansfield.

You can check if you can pick up ABC WVNY-22 you can go to this site:
RabbitEars.Info

As to why you were able to pick it up it is probably due to summer propagation which allows to boost some signals under some environmental conditions.

Hope this helps,
Pierre
