Is Match Game returning or is it canceled? I did not find any info.

The Alec Baldwin-hosted Match Game isn’t expected to return to ABC. Deadline notes that Match Game was not renewed in late fall when the network typically makes its pickups for the following summer, which was around the same time that Baldwin was involved in the shooting accident on the Rust set.

According to the Variety article, ABC’s decision to cancel Match Game is not related to the shooting incident, since the series hasn’t been in production since the pandemic. Also unlikely to return are Card Sharks, Celebrity Dating Game and The Hustler, while Celebrity Family Feud, Press Your Luck and The $100,000 Pyramid are expected to be back.

Dancing with the Stars is moving from ABC exclusively to Disney+ in the U.S. and Canada this Fall with a two-season pickup. Deadline reported that ABC will air an additional night of NFL football in Monday 8-10 PM slot.
