Just three months after he left the Q (CFQR), Aaron Rand is returning to CJAD 800 AM in Montreal. Rand was previously at CJAD in 1979 and 1980 as a sportscaster.
The 33-year veteran of English language radio will kick off his new show on September 6th. Rand will host the afternoon drive show which airs weekdays from 3 to 7 PM.
The show will be News and talk with Rand interviewing guests and discussing the top news stories of the day.
"We all know Aaron is smooth and witty but he's also an opinionated news junkie. The Aaron Rand Show will be informative and exciting," said Chris Bury, Brand and News Director. "His arrival strengthens CJAD 800's position as the home of breaking news and stimulating talk in Montreal."
