i bought it on line and plugged it in worked great for 9 days then i get a message saying not athurized? now my problem is rogers said they cant do it for me cause the serial# is missing from the back (no sticker) what i want to know is there away to get that serial# from it so i can get rogers to activate it surely my pvr cant be no good just cause i dont have the sticker on the back:mad:

Well the answer is obvious isn't it? Return it/mail it to the place of purchase and demand your money back! A strongly worded letter always helps too. Perhaps ask to speak to the manager. Tell them that the item was missing the serial sticker and you find that suspicious. Or gasp maybe even stolen? ;)

A search here will find all the things you can try. Chances are you have a nice door stop now.
