My wife and I are trying to child proof against our 9 month old - we are losing. I am hoping someone will have an idea of where to buy a large 70" plus wide TV stand/component rack in either the Vancouver area or online with delivery. All of the units I have come across seem to be upwards of $2000 and I am hoping to stay below $1000.

My requirements are:
-Wider than 70" and low as possible.
-Glass doors to allow IR passthrough but block tiny prying destructive hands
-Preferably a dark wood

Any ideas where I can find an affordable one?

IKEA Tobo, 67" ? As always, make sure your stuff will fit for width, height, depth. If you have a STB and AVR, good ventillation is a requirement - heat is a killer for components. I've gone into people's homes and their equipment is enclosed on all 6 sides with only a small hole for wiring. The equipment is cooking....not good.

You may also wish to consider an IR repeater.
