For those that like Asterisk but find it too complicated to set up, they might want to try a completely free Windows based solution. It's called 3CX. It's a complete PBX that does everything Asterisk does. I'm using it with Broadvoice. It gives you unlimited extensions and is great for a small business. You can even setup remote extensions or bridge it with another PBX in a remote office. Because it's SIP based it will work with any VOIP provider, assuming they will give you credentials. You can also setup a Cisco 3102 and connect a POTS line to the system
