I hooked up the third tv now no picture in the third tv and the second one now has a snowy picture and the original main tv is fine.

Ran from a three way splitter. Any suggestions? Is it possible something burnt out on the satellite receiver? Previous to this I had two tvs connected without issue.

Thank you.

I think that he means he has 3 tvs hooked up to 1 reciever. Its possible the Splitter has quit working. I have had the same problem once before. Try another splitter. Someone else may have a better suggestion.

A 3 way splitter drops the signal by 7 db on a couple of the ports and just 3.5 db on the other. A 4 way woudl be 7 db on all 4 and a 2 way just 3.5 on both.

Best to obtain an +7 db amplified 4 way splitter like many cable companies use.
The internal amp just compensates for the insertion loss.
Then it's like connecting your TV directly with NO loss.

You other option is to use the 3 coloured RCA output, Red, White & Yellow to drive a RF Modulator and use that output for a 3rd set.

Dependingon the model of set top sat receiver, you may have other options as well.
On the HD models, try component video to the closet TV to the receiver and then use the composite and then the RF together or in combination as needed.
