Posting this for my parents, who have three recievers on one dish (two 3100 and a 2700). Recently the 2700 has been causing problems. For some reason, all the even numbered transponders do not have a signal - as in 0%. All the odd numbered transponders are fine. All transponders on the 3100's are fine, even and odd.

What gives here??

Well, it is possible the 2700 is dying and is not putting out the required voltage. It is also possible the switch has a bad port.

What happens if you connect the 2700 to one of the lines that normally feeds a 3100.? Do you get all transponders.?

If yes, then you are chasing a Cable/Connector/Switch problem at the 2700 location
If No, then it might well be the 2700 that is failing.

Is there any chance a splitter has been added to the line feeding the 2700, recently.?
