The Czech Republic is the setting this time around for the 2020 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championships, which begins on Thursday, December 26th. And it gets underway with a bang, as the United States faces Canada at 1 pm Eastern on opening day.

Since the US beat Russia today, Canada just has to beat Germany tomorrow morning to move ahead of Russia in the standings. Quite an accomplishment that would be after a terrible 6 to 1 loss to Russia yesterday!
