Can you run 2 tv's from a 530 pvr watching 2 different channels? I was told you could that's why I bought it. If so, how do you connect it?

you can do this.....

just not at the same time.

the 530 only has a single output stream. But all of the different video ports at the back are active during viewing.

Who told you you could watch two different channels at the same time on different TV's? That person was about as wrong as a person could be about the capabilities of the 530. Heck, the 630 doesn't do that.
