Hi there, This is now really going on my nerves and so far no solution. My phone doesn't ring always. My daughter's phone doesn't ring often. I call her many times and voip.ms voice will tell me immediately that subscriber is not available. Then I text her and she calls me back from voip.ms...

I travel a lot with (and without) my RV (fulltimer) I currently have a Shaw HS connection and phone this will be changing. I have used Skype for several years but am still annoyed they do not provide Canadian numbers so have just created a voip.ms account. 90% of my communication is online but...

Hi all, I have just registered with voip.ms (due to having read good reviews about it here) and am in the process of obtaining a toll-free DID from them. In the meantime I've experimented with making some outgoing calls using a softphone (3CX Phone currently). I'm trying to figure out how I...

The Voip.ms premium routing will not handle calls with a +443 prefix (a UK, non-geographic area code prefix). Tech support claim that because it is a non-geographic number: therefore calling it from abroad isn't supposed to work. (There doesn't seem to be a problem when calling such numbers...

After reading several posts about voip.ms here, I've decided to venture into the world of voip and sip. However, I have a couple of newbie questions: 1. So if I buy a Cisco PAP2T, it will work with my regular vtech (or any) cordless phone, right? 2. I live in an apartment building where we...

I've been with VoIP.ms for a few years now, and have helped many people on this forum - though not as much as Mango. :-) For the past month to 6 weeks, I've been experiencing strange issues on outbound calls. Most of the issues have been to the Halifax area. Tonight I tried calling the Bell...

How long should one wait for a porting of one's number before contacting voip.ms to find out what's taking so long?

I know there's been a little chatter in the voip.ms thread about iNum, but it's not really specific to voip.ms so I thought I'd put my question in a new thread: I know that voip.ms gives free iNum numbers out ($0/month, $0.00 for incoming/outgoing minutes), but how does this work for the rest...

I have downloaded X-lite and installed. I have also set up an account with Voip.ms. I have done the voicetest and its good. I have made an outbound call and it was good. When I try and dial my new number, I get a busy signal so presumably I have set it up incorrectly. Here is my SIP account...

Thanks to some of the other threads on this forum, I decided to try and set up my own voip, and signed up with voip.ms. I managed to set up a PAP2T in about 20 minutes, and, amazingly, I was calling across the country immediately. So far, voice quality is excellent. We'll see how it goes over...
