I'm using a 160GB WD 2.5" hard drive and the ExpressVu 6131. The EHD is powered by the USB port on the 6131, and I've been using it now for about 1 1/2 months without a problem. Why do they recommend against using the receiver to power the drive?

My 9242 just upgraded from V182 to V183! Can't find any changes yet though. Perhaps they've addressed the EHD issues? -Mike
