I just inherited a 9242. Current receiver is a 6131 with an external hard drive for
PVR capabilities. Dish is up on the roof, but looks like the dual LNB feeds into an SW21 switch that is located very near the dish, then a single cable feeds off the roof and into the house. We went through an...

I have two 6131s connected to a single dish using 2 SW21 switches.

Should I use 1 or 2 dishes?
This is my situation:
- I have an existing Bell ExpressVu 18” dish with dual-LNBs;
- The dish is aimed at Sat.91 (84% signal);
- Each RG6 coax-cable is connected to a separate 3100 SD-receiver;
- I’ve had this set-up for about 9 years, and it has worked well.
