theScore signs U.S. College sports TV deal with Fox

Score Media announced today it has entered into a long-term television with FOX International Sports Channels for live collegiate sports content.

The deal includes at least 250 hours per year of college football, basketball and hockey games from some of America’s top college conferences including the Big 12 Conference, Pac-12 Conference and Conference USA.

Score Media releases free iPad Sports app

Score Media has launched a free new sports app designed for the Apple iPad.

The broadcaster says its “TheScore iPad Edition” features news, scores, stats and standings from every major sports league plus video and audio content from the company’s Television, Radio and web properties.

Free ScoreMobile FC Smartphone app released

In time for the World Cup, Score Media has launched ScoreMobile FC, a free smartphone application which provides scores, stats and standings for more than 30 international soccer leagues from over 15 countries worldwide.

Score says Blackberry and Android versions are now available with an iPhone version coming soon.

Score Media reported today that its free ScoreMobile application for BlackBerry smartphones has been downloaded more than a million times since its launch seven months ago.

Now on version 1.3, the application currently has a four star rating on Blackberry Appworld although a small percentage of users have reported some connectivity issues on the latest release.
