Sony HomeShare Wireless Audio System coming in April

Sony Canada has announced its new wireless home audio system, called HomeShare will be arriving in Canada in April.

First seen at CES 2011, the new products let users stream music wirelessly from a DLNA server or Sony Blu-ray player to a HomeShare wireless speaker or iPhone dock.

Sonos adds iPod dock to its line-up

Sonos, makers of wireless music systems for the home, announced today the introduction of the a Wireless dock which will be available to consumers in October.

Philips alarm clock comes with a dawn simulator

Philips has launched the Wake-up Light – an interesting new alarm clock and FM radio which the consumer electronics company says simulates a natural sunrise providing a more pleasant wake up experience no matter what time of year.

Simulating a natural sunrise, the 300 lux wake-up light is a dawn simulator which gradually starts to illuminate 30 minutes before your desired wake up time.

The result says Philips is a more “natural” waking up process which can help sleepers wake up more peacefully which leads to feeling less stressed and less groggy at the start of the day.

Dual dock clock radio lets you charge two ipods

Sanyo today launched two new clock radios with iPod connectivity. The first is a standard cube shaped clock radio (DMP-P1) with an iPod docking station, while the dual dock radio (DMP-692) features two docking stations so you can play and recharge two iPods simultaneously.
