HBO Canada’s fall season begins tonight with Beauty Day

Beauty Day, a documentary portrait of St. Catharines, Ont., native Ralph Zavadil, a pre-Jackass amateur stuntman and comedian, marks the start of HBO Canada’s fall season which includes the return of popular HBO programming such as Call Me Fitz, Boardwalk Empire, Bored to Death and Hung.

The Astral owned station, which fills out its schedules with movies and Canadian produced specials, says that all of its HBO programming will premiere on the same day-and-date as south of the border.

HBO’s Hung and Entourage return on Sunday

Hung, a half hour HBO comedy starring Thomas Jane as Ray Drecker, a struggling suburban Detroit high school basketball coach who resorts to male prostitution returns for a new season on HBO this Sunday.

Also returning this weekend to HBO is the seventh season of Entourage, a comedy-drama series chronicling the life of Vincent Chase (played by Adrian Grenier), a young film star, and his childhood friends from Queens, New York City, as they navigate the unfamiliar terrain of Hollywood, California
