ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball airs on TSN 2

The boys of summer are back and TSN has announced it will be carrying ESPN’s Sunday Night Baseball beginning this Sunday April 3rd when the L.A. Dodgers hosting the defending World Series champion San Francisco Giants at Dodger Stadium.

Most games begin at at 8 p.m. ET and continue every Sunday, a total of 25 games, throughout the 2011 MLB regular season.

Gregg Zaun signs two year deal with Sportnet

Just days after announcing his retirement from Major League Baseball, Gregg Zaun has signed a two-year deal with Rogers Sportsnet as its full-time Major League Baseball analyst.

Zaun, who has been an analyst for Sportsnet’s MLB playoff coverage for the past five years, will continue in that role year round for Sportsnet television and radio.

Entire Blue Jays 2011 season to air on Rogers Sportsnet Radio and TV

Rogers Media announced this week that all 162 regular season Toronto Blue Jays games this year will air on Blue Jays Radio Network and at least one SportsNet television channel starting with the season-opener April 1st at against the Minnesota Twins at Rogers Centre.

Baseball Spring training tour begins on Sirius XM

To celebrate the return of baseball, Sirius XM has announced that beginning Friday, March 5, MLB Home Plate and Mad Dog Radio will broadcast from 30 Major League Baseball Spring Training sites in three weeks.

Sirius XM’s 2010 Spring Training Tour will broadcast live from ballparks in Arizona and Florida, offering fans an in-depth look at every Major League club along with interviews with managers, players and team executives.
