My Fibe-supplied router says it's an Alcatel Lucent 7130, and its software dates from May, 2012. So I guess all this thread is irrelevant to my setup?

Well, Bell can change "your" personalized guides anytime they want. So the least they can do is update them when they change all the numbers.

Running the same version. Have never seen anything with the LAST button except a toggle between two stations. The STB even remembers the last station during a OFF cycle.
