DHX 2018-19 schedule (Family Channel, etc.)
This thread will discuss the schedule updates for the DHX Television Channels for the 2018-19 broadcast year, consisting of Family Channel, Family CHRGD, Family Jr. and Télémagino.
I post schedule updates, series premieres and specials based on press releases as well as series renewals and cancellations as they are announced. I don't usually post on-going episode information, repeats, program descriptions or "PR-speak," so if you want more info, you can click on the associated link in the post.
Below is a detailed listing of series featured in DHX Television's September schedule. All programming is subject to change.
Family Channel – All Times ET/PT
The X Factor – New Season – Saturdays and Sundays at 7 p.m. beginning September 8
The Next Step – Season 6 – Weekends at 4:30 p.m. beginning September 29
The new season debuts with two back-to-back episodes on Saturday, September 29 at 4 p.m. and continues with two more on Sunday, September 30 at 4 p.m.
Top Chef Junior – Season Premiere – Tuesday, October 2 at 8 p.m.
For the first two weeks, new episodes will air Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 8 p.m. The series moves to its regular timeslot, Wednesdays at 8 p.m., on October 17.
American Ninja Warrior Junior – New Series – Mondays at 8 p.m. beginning October 15
Home: Adventures with Tip & Oh – New Series – Weekdays at 4:30 p.m. beginning September 3
Lego Friends: Girls on a Mission – New Series – Weekdays at 4:45 p.m. beginning September 3
Other series joining the lineup include: the hilarious reality competition, Wipeout, premiering Monday, September 3 at 7 p.m.; R.L. Stine's chilling anthology, The Haunting Hour, airing Friday – Sunday at 9 p.m. beginning September 7; animated comedy, Supernoobs, airing weekdays at 4:15 p.m. beginning September 3; and the heartwarming family drama, Parenthood, airing Tuesday-Thursday at 9 p.m. beginning September 18.

Mega Man: Fully Charged – New Series – Weekends at 8:30 a.m. beginning September 8
Dragons: Race to the Edge – New Season – Weekends at 8:55 a.m. beginning September 8
Zak Storm – New Episodes – Sundays at 9:20 a.m. beginning September 9
Massive Monster Mayhem – Labour Day Special Event – Monday, September 4 beginning at 8 a.m., jam-packed with 20 back-to-back episodes.
Family Jr. – All Times ET
Curious George – New Season – Mondays at 6:25 a.m. beginning September 3
Bob the Builder – New Season – Mondays at 1:30 p.m. beginning September 3
Polly Pocket – New Episodes Throughout September – Sundays at 6:05 p.m.
Kody Kapow – New Episodes Throughout September – Mondays at 7:40 a.m.
Grizzy & The Lemmings – New Episodes Throughout September – Weekdays at 7:15 a.m.
In addition to all the great shows arriving on Family Jr. this fall, preschoolers will love the Popcorn Parade – marvelous movies airing every Saturday at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. throughout September. Popular titles include: Barbie & Her Sisters in the Great Puppy Adventure, Babe, Air Buddies and Air Bud World Pup.
The majority of programming debuting as part of DHX Television's Fall schedule will also be available on The Family Channel App as well as each channel's respective OnDemand service. Creeped Out will premiere on the Family Channel with two back-to-back episodes on Fridays starting October 5 at 6 p.m. ET/PT, culminating in a marathon beginning at 4:30 p.m. ET/PT on Halloween. See the press release for additional series featuring Halloween programming.
Family Channel will be on Free Preview through cable providers throughout October.
Chip and Potato debuts as a one-week premiere event on Family Jr., with new episodes airing daily at 7 a.m. ET, from Monday, October 15 – Friday, October 19. Following the dedicated week, new episodes will air Mondays at 7 a.m. ET.
The network's fall lineup includes Grizzy and The Lemmings, Curious George, Polly Pocket and Kody Kapow. Family Jr. is currently available on Free Preview through Canadian cable providers for the entire month.

Family Channel holiday programming
Ross Petty's A Christmas Carol: The Holiday Musical with a Scrooge Loose! debuts Friday, November 30 at 7 p.m. ET/PT. Throughout December, more seasonal specials and festive flicks will be added to the lineup, including: Jingle All the Way, Elf, Santa's Apprentice, Nativity, The National Tree, The Flight Before Christmas, Switchmas, Get Santa, Santa's Little Helper, Hank Zipzer's Christmas Catastrophe and more!
The two-night season finale of The X Factor concludes on Saturday, December 8 and Sunday, December 9 at 7 p.m. ET/PT with the Season 15 winner revealed; American Ninja Warrior Junior wraps up on Monday, December 17 at 8 p.m. ET/PT with the final contestants running the course; and finally, the Top Chef Junior kitchen serves up a winner in back-to-back finale episodes airing Tuesday, December 18 and Wednesday, December 19 at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
Peanuts holiday classics:
A Charlie Brown Christmas – December 24 at 6 p.m. ET/PT.
It's Christmastime Again, Charlie Brown – December 24 at 6:30 p.m. ET/PT.
I Want a Dog For Christmas, Charlie Brown – December 24 at 7 p.m. ET/PT.
Happy New Year, Charlie Brown – December 31 at 5 p.m. ET/PT.
The fun continues beyond Christmas Day, with brand new episodes from top animated series Johnny Test, Alvinnn!!! and The Chipmunks, Home: The Adventures with Tip & Oh and Supernoobs airing weekday afternoons from December 27 to January 6. Fans taking a break from sledding and snowman-building can catch blockbuster movies every morning at 10 a.m. ET/PT. Families can cozy up on the couch and relax on Boxing Day with a Wipeout marathon, featuring 17 back-to-back episodes beginning at 6 a.m. ET/PT.

Family Channel March Break
Reality competition fans can kick back weeknights from 6 p.m. – 9 p.m. ET/PT new game show Beat the Clock, new series Hole in the Wall, Wipeout and American Ninja Warrior Junior; and animation addicts will want to wake up bright and early weekend mornings for new episodes of Mighty Mike, Johnny Test, Alvinnn!!! and The Chipmunks and Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir starting at 7 a.m. ET/PT. Popular tween dramas The Next Step, Holly Hobbie and Bajillionaires round out the rest of the lineup.
All of season six of The Next Step is available on the Family Channel App, giving fans the opportunity to binge watch the second half of the season before it airs on television.
DHX Media and Mattel have greenlit a 26-episode second season of Polly Pocket. Season 1 is on Family Jr. in Canada and the press release mentions a deal with Videotron (French Canada.)
LEGO Jurassic World: Legend of Isla Nublar - series premiere on Family Channel on Saturday morning, July 6. (Zap2it)
The new live-action series, Malory Towers, has been greenlit by CBBC, the BBC’s channel for children aged 6-12, and DHX Television’s Family Channel. Principal photography begins this month in Toronto, Canada, and will shift to the UK in September 2019. The series is expected to premiere on CBBC and Family Channel in 2020. (Press Release)

It will be on at 7 AM on the eastern feed and 10 AM on the western feed Winnipeg time.
