Last Man Standing Cancelled
One of the longest running Situation Comedies has been cancelled and will not be back in the fall on ABC. Apparently ABC is getting rid of their Friday Comedy Lineup.

Lets hope that another network picks up this show. If another Network doesn't pick it up maybe Netflix would be interested.

Tim Allen probably has enough cash to produce the show himself...I can see it coming back in a year if he doesn't get another show.

'Last Man Standing' With Tim Allen May Be Revived at CMT | Hollywood Reporter

The talks are very preliminary and would depend on keeping the cost in line with a cable TV budget. Both CMT U.S. and CMT Canada carry syndicated repeats of the show, so there is a good possibility that the Canadian network would pick it up if the U.S. does.

Bayguy 2017-06-17 03:41 AM

Oh that would be nice.

Danster 2017-06-17 01:45 PM

Can't believe they are sending Shield to the graveyard shift. Isn't Friday nights the last chance to get to see a show before they cancel it for good? I always thought that night was the last nail in the show's coffin. :o

Dr.Dave 2017-06-20 02:27 PM

@Danster that's generally true, although shows have survived for several years on that night - Blue Bloods, Hawaii Five-O, Grimm and Last Man Standing.

'Last Man Standing' Won't Get Season 7 Revival at CMT | TVLine

CMT and 20th Century Fox TV, the production company behind the sitcom, could not come to an agreement on the numbers needed to make the revival financially feasible.

Sorry to get everyone's hopes up.

Danster 2017-06-21 04:45 PM

Still feel like this is a bad idea sending Shield on Friday nights. That show is already just barely making it so this will probably be the end of it after this year.
