Whats wrong with this mp4 player
Hello all, Here's the deal. i was given a Missil GL-15051 1 GB MP4 player. Upon Plugging it into my pc, and going to my computer, I find that it claims to be free of any files but only has 17 mb of free space. how can i restore the rest. all i know for sure is that it was owned by a mac user before hand. Any ideas on how to restore the rest of the missing drive space. My plan is to give this to my nephew as his parents do not have a lot of money and i'm just trying to be a good uncle.
Any thoughts ? i would even try software if you know of any
I don't think this player can act like a USB client (what you are trying).
You need to sync content between the computer and the player.
How this is done depends on the player and software it supports...

Four's advice is probably the best of the best. Do you have software cd for it? There must be a sync program on it. If not try downloading it from the web and run it to check what's on your mp4. Other method - risky - is to download operating system from the producer's webpage and then format your mp4 for a fresh start. I used to do that for my Philips.
To access the USB 'udisk' drive on the MISSIL, do the following:
Start it up
Go to the 'File Browser' option. Enter it.
The 'Udisk' will be displayed on the screen.
NOW, plug in the USB cable.
The device will go to USB mode and the drive will appear on your computer.
Copy the files on.
hope this helps
I got no cd for it and i have yet to find the company website that would have it.
