BLINK. Medium gets picked up and Unit gets canceled?!? I'm thinking Medium is cheaper. Tried watching that show and couldn't get past the lead actress.

HT gearhead It would seem the outdated Neilson rating machine is to blame according to another thread. People tend to record the good stuff and watch garbage live.
No wonder we get so much crap on tv year after year. That would explain crappy shows like Survivor, American Idol and South Park still showing "strong" ratings.

dosborne Strange that they seem to really be pushing the reruns of The Unit this summer too.....

Angela V Since it's Canadian, I hope they don't have to rely on what NBC does. As it was CTV wanted to air the show last fall but NBC didn't want to air it yet and kept if off until the summer. While that happened the show aired in other countries.

Barney Rubble The Listener was cancelled by NBC but CTV seems to be showing new episodes. I Wonder if CTV will keep it after all the episodes air?

Petee_C i seem to have the misfortune of liking cancelled shows.

Magnum PI
Most of the ST series
Las Vegas
Jericho
The Unit

(sigh)

I really don't care for reality tv.

locktight No one seems to mention my favorite show "Mr. Rogers neighborhood". Not to mention watching it and biting on my favorite peanut butter sandwich. Ah ! those are the days that you don't have any worries like right now. Things like how am I going to pay my mortgage next month? etc.etc.

Space is going to show Stargate Universe along with Caprica, prequel to Battlestar Galactica. My only wish is that Space was also offered in HD.

It's a rip off of the British show with the same title and characters. Though I've watched both and liked them both. The American version did have a different ending. And the British version does have a spin off of sorts "Ashes to Ashes" which is also good.

PFD I think there are plans for one movie to wrap it up. A new series is in the works.

I thought it was going to move into movie mode, like SG-1, and a new Stargate show would be starting.

However, chat about the movies and the new show have pretty much stopped. I wonder if these are still in the works.....
