ltldevl More Canadians recognize Super Mario than Harper or Dion because more and more people who live in Canada have not been in Canada long enough to know. Super Mario is known around the world.

More Canadians recognize Super Mario than Harper or Dion

According to a Harris/Decima survey commissioned by Nintendo of Canada, more people in Calgary, Toronto and Halifax can identify a photo of Nintendo's iconic video game character, Mario, than can identify a photo of Prime Minister Stephen Harper.
