|tvmaster||Eh? Define Ďtransientí. Itís been happening all week, and then we started complaining here, and on TSN at least, it appears fixed. KTLA was better this morning during a short sample. The squeaky wheel gets the oil...|

|LONSat||Interesting I tried both TSN channels and KTLA this morning around 7:45 ET and I didn't have any issues. Transient issues are always hard to diagnose|

|RuralRouter||We are still getting dropouts on CNN. The faulty feed must be what is being transmitted TO Shaw FROM CNN - My guess anyway.|

|tvmaster||It was happening on TSN 4 & 5 this morning. Now, as in late tonight, Itís happening on KTLA Los Angeles.|

|mellaby||I'm not hearing any dropouts on TSN 3 right now. Maybe it's fixed.|

Could be that it wasn’t fixed early this morning either. I might have just not waited the required 1 minute and 10 second interval in between drops. Yes, I actually timed it with my phones stopwatch.
P.S. It took about 18 hours, but sd on twitter finally responded to my dm I sent to them yesterday. Here’s what they wrote:
Are you still experiencing difficulties with TSN today?
They’ve got to be joking.

No, they HAVE NOT been fixed. I'm watching TSN 4 and 5 and audio is dropping out every second sentence, for seconds at a time. It's unwatchable, and with both the CFL playoffs and MLS Final this weekend, Shaw better get it fixed, pronto. And if the problem is originating at TSN, well, that's not the customer's problem either, so if ANYONE AT SHAW actually reads these forums, have a listen to the TSN channels please.
Listening to all the different outputs, analog, HDMI and digital to see if there's a difference. they all seem effected, but the digital audio output suffers the most

|HowardDoin||I spoke too soon. All of the tsn channels are acting up again, tick tock Shaw direct. December 1 is coming.|

|HowardDoin||Things seem to have been fixed over night. Still bugs me about the lack of customer service, but my 1 year equipment commitment is up on December 1 and Iíll re-evaluate then. None of these companies have any loyalty to me, and I donít to them.|

|tvmaster||TSN has been dropping in and out all week, on all channels. Doesnít anyone at their headend or quality control centre watch the damn tv?|

|ExDilbert||The "best customer service" didn't last long. It was terrible both times I subscribed. There were also lots of audio and video dropouts. Some things don't seem to change.|

|HowardDoin||I tried to call to see whatís happening with this, but itís next to impossible to get through. They donít answer on twitter like they used to. Used to have the best customer service and now theyíre behind Bell. Congratulations Shaw Direct, thatís not easy to do.|

|stephimoe||Yep Im having the same audio drops on TSN channels|

Older thread, but Iím getting audio drops on all the TSN channels ( 311-315 on national lineup). No other channels are doing this and my signal levels are all fine. Just wondering if anybody else is having this problem before I spend a good portion of my remaining time on this earth sitting on hold.
Edit; we have 6 receivers in the house and confirmed all them are behaving the same way. Checked the multi switch and it seems fine. Getting 96 and 8.2dB signals, some receivers actually a bit higher. Have gone through all channels on all receivers and it is only the tsn channels mentioned above.
