tvmaster This may have been discussed before (search didn't turn anyting up), but is there any reason why TBS hasn't been offered in Canada? Are too many of their shows licensed to Canadian channels independently?

Leesnurg Thanks k801809 for keeping everyone updated.
Since many of us are forced to stay at home, would it be possible to ask the ShawDirect executives to make more Free Previews available, especially movies?

k801809 It was on Free Preview temporarily, the free preview was supposed to end yesterday but it's been extended it with the network. The Guide got the word that the extension happened yesterday before the video team so it was a bit wonky for a while.

Agents are now working from home and may or may not have access to live services at this point - their help desk is likely very busy with the noise from settling into working from home... doing our best here and appreciate patience!

NovaMan Channel 353 is back on the air today.

peternm22 Thanks Joe! Instantly more helpful than spending an hour talking to Shaw Direct on the phone (who apparently can't check channels on their end).

JasperJoe 353 = black screen

peternm22 Can anyone check if they can tune Family JR HD this morning (it's channel 353 on the National Lineup). We get a black screen whenever we turn to it this morning on all of our receivers, even though the signal is decent (7.5 ecb). We did a receiver refresh online, but it hasn't come back yet.

Leafs13 Easy decision to cancel TSN+Sportsnet bundle today. Cut my bill in half, lol.

Billy34 On the 830 you have the choice to display only the English, French or All, and i have my 830 pvr setup to English only, but Telelatino 801 does not show up on guide... it's not French, but is hidden on the guide?... it's multicultural, but often has english shows... I assumed that when I picked English only, that only the French channels would be hidden

Agreed. Not only are Canadian season ticket holders and Rogers supporting the 23 American teams, the American viewers get a kick-ass hockey channel, for free with most channel packages. Is it still produced in Toronto, or have they moved it to N.Y.? It’s obscene how much the American hockey fan gets thanks to Canada, and we get squat.

Edit: it’s in N.J. now https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NHL_Ne...can_TV_channel)

Live view is awesome, kinda like NFL Red Zone

Jocasta1 Are we ever going to see CNBC in high definition? All other news channels are now in HD.
