LONSat @jcwrmm The large batch next week are all Std Def channel drops with a few HD moving from G1 to F2. I was wondering more about things like CNBC, Comedy West, APTN West which was added in Std Def. And even TVA West. There are a few other Std Def channels after that but I believe they are slated for 2020 if available in HD.

LONSat No. There are channel maps out there for legacy LNBs.

stephimoe ....sorry if this has been answered, couldn't find it, but do you need the triple satellite LNB installed on the dish to get the national line up switch over?

Thanks for any info

LONSat Thanks for the info @k801809 Any other potential last minute HD additions before this years conversions come to an end?

daboys1215 Thanks. I'm in no hurry. I have gotten used to the old guide and it will take me time to remember the new channel numbers anyway. I'm sure it will happen in due time.

LONSat I believe it was mentioned that 600's and 605's were being targeted first. A call to Shaw Direct would get your 630 changed over to the new National map to match the others.

daboys1215 Anybody know why my 2 605's switched over to the new guide yesterday but my pvr 630 has not changed ?

k801809 Thanks for the heads up - there are two versions of the email, so I'll have to take that away.

Canal Savior HD is also launching today FYI!

LONSat The following HD channels launch today replacing the Std Def version

LONSat I got the same email this week with the link to classic comparison only. I used to be on advanced but I also chose to switch to National when it first came out so the email is generic is going to everyone regardless as to whether they opted in early or have advanced. I agree a link to both comparisons would be a improvement but a targeted email should have been possible based on Classic or Advanced.

Bayguy k8:

We got the email yesterday but it only had a link to Classic comparison. There was no way to know how to find the Advanced comparison but luckily the ppl here had posted it a long time ago so we already have it. If Shaw can't tell when ppl have Advanced how about putting two links in the email so they can pick the right one?
Bayguy Well the old SD channels will go away from the guide eventually right? It would be silly to have a whole bunch of the guide forever that says "This channel is no longer available" or whatever it says.
tvmaster Too bad about TVO and Newfoundland’s Superchannel ( hehe), NTV. Those are two channels that would be nice to have while traveling south of the Hollywood line...

peternm22 Does anyone know what time of day the lineup switchover occurs? It looks like ours is scheduled for Sept 17th according to the email we received. Will it occur overnight?
