Interesting fact about google home mini and Disney+: Me: "hey google, play ... on Disney+" GHM: "I can't play from Disney+ yet" Normally the response from an unsupported device or app would be : "I'm sorry I dono how to help with that." |

Need someone in the US to compare there. As the english version, generally is the same english version as the US. I wonder if its some thing.. since in Canada would require to have the french audio language available (I guess when/where it was recorded, some older stuff might not?).. that they were like oh should be the french visual version? |

TorontoColin | When I watched Ralph Breaks the Internet on Netflix I experienced the same thing. |

I expect, whoever prepared the streaming versions, is unaware that there are visual differences between the versions, and would have done it differently if they knew that they were. Perhaps a query to customer support is in order. |

Yeah, thats really weird. As I think that the canadian version of those movies, even with french audio, use the english video (there isnt two different coppies of the video on the bluray, etc) So its like its using an EU french release? (zootopia the news anchor is the same animal even in France so couldnt fully differentiate by that) |

Yes, It had the English audio but was clearly a French version of the video. Gotta wonder if its an early soon-to-be resolved glitch in the Canadian version of Disney+ eh? It occurs to me that Zootopia was like that as well. |

Interesting. Assuming it had english audio? I know that some of their recent movies they make different versions for different countries/languages.. and have actual changed parts. Its like the FRENCH/France version of video, with english audio? |

Kloraff | We watched Wreck-it Ralph the other night and also noticed that anything written was in French. |

Really, there is nothing to be careful of. (no more than any normal internet security you should have) The Disney+ servers/services were not hacked themselves. The information was not taken from the Disney side. Any of these hacked accounts were more likely taken by people with Keylogers on their machines, or people re using the same user/password. That they use the same information on any/all websites, where it may have been taken from that end, and just used/attempted elsewhere. A lot of these hacking companies, use scripted computers which automate things. Which will take huge lists of username/password in which they obtained, and then test them against a site. Even if not doing anything bad themselves, they are just confirming that it works or not. Confirmed gets put on a good list, and then sold off. The people who buy them, will then test the stuff against anything and everything, trying to steal stuff by doing so. |

Its interesting as to why they did this, with the Simpsons only? I have watched a few of the older disney themselves older stuff which was aired in 4:3 and they are showing 4:3 when playing |

Dr.Dave | The first 19 seasons of The Simpsons aired in 4:3 aspect ratio, however Disney Plus is cropping the top and bottom of those early episodes and presenting them in 16:9 aspect ratio common with HDTV.. Disney announced on Friday that they will allows subscribers to choose the original aspect ratio if they wish starting in early 2020. (LA Times) |

Hulu To bad that Disney+ doesn’t offer HULU with their services at all. I would of loved if they could bring Hulu streaming services. What about you? |
