Bayguy Right and left scroll does what it's supposed to on my FF (goes forward or back in time), doesn't change to the current time. And its fast. But it does skip back to the top of the channel list. :-(

Clicking the right and left scroll buttons resets the vertical scroll to the top. This only seems to happen with the "Starred" view selected, not the others.
It also changes the time to the current hour, so if you're searching prime time, it changes the time displayed.

scotta A few other Zap2it changes I noticed (using Firefox under Ubuntu Linux)
  1. Movies now show the release date.
  2. Clicking the right and left scroll buttons resets the vertical scroll to the top. This only seems to happen with the "Starred" view selected, not the others.
  3. Updating the grid after a left or right scroll is much slower than before.

Bayguy Oh interesting bobmac, I'm on a MacBook so not a real big screen. Thats okay 3 hrs. works fine.

websurferdude Had the same problems many, many times with Zap2It! Found this alternative - i've been using it for months to program my PVR for the week - much more reliable - i doubt the site has been down more than once or twice, but usually only hours/one day.

bobmac FYI, for mac users, the guide has no 6 hour options with Safari or Firefox, but the option is in Chrome.

Edit: after posting, I changed the dimensions of the window in Chrome and it reverted to 2 hours display sooooo, I changed the dimensions in Safari and I got the 6 hours display but only 2 hours with info. I clicked the grid preferences and the 3 hours and 6 hours option was there, chose 6 hours and saved. Now I had 6 hours worth of info in the display.

If I shrink the window, I get the 2 hours display. So you window size seems to affect your options.

Bayguy Zap2it really broken w/Firefox. Was able to scroll but it was jiggly. Now it's only showing a couple hours of squished listings like it's doing six hours, but I can't change it. Tried Chrome and it lets me pick 3 or 6 hrs., also the listings are all there. Prefer FF but will have to use Chrome for now.

Bayguy LOL Dr. Dave I guess the web ppl keep taking away the 3/6 hours just when I try to use Zap2it! At least I still have Starred Channels. Also Grid Start Time but I don't care about that b'cuz I always want Now.

p.s It's okay b'cuz I don't think I want 6 hrs. anyway, everything would be too small.

Dr.Dave After I posted on this thread, the actual choices in the Grid Preferences changed 2 or 3 times yesterday. It's as if a developer was doing was doing initial testing on a live system by mistake.

Right now I have:
# of Hours Displayed
* 3- hours
* 6- hours
* Grid Start Time

Surprisingly, you can check both 3 and 6 hour options. The grid always displays 3 hours. I don't know what Grid Start Time is supposed to do, but I tried checking it and a whole bunch of channels disappeared. I tried switching providers between MTS and Shaw Cable and the same was true in both cases. When I unchecked that option, it looks like all the channels were displayed for each provider. I decided to check 3-hours and leave everything else alone and it seems to work.

EDIT: The preferences that I posted yesterday are back and seem to be working now. Crossing my fingers.

jlcinc2 The six hour grid is under the "Grid Preferences" menu.

Bayguy Thats weird I don't see 6 hrs/3hrs option, just grid start time and channel filters. Glad they put a Starred Channels Only option b'cuz every time we went away from the grid when we came back it was All Channels again.

winterwolf ^^
I loved that option too, also wish it would be back, specially when there's major schedule change, like the seasonal change. I even notice that more and more channel's website don't use the weekly grid anymore, most only show the daily lineup.

They finally add "Only show Starred channels", that make the Starred tab load by default, it's great, I was getting tired of always have to switch tab everytime, and All Channel tab take too long to load, the Starred tab load way faster since I only have few channels that I watch.
Those are certainly improvements, but what I'd like to see them bring back is opening a single channel, so that it displays 2 weeks in a list. I often used that for some channels. With the old guide, I'd go through the grid and open some channels in new tabs, where I could scan through the week. It would also be nice if we could arrange the channels in our own order, as we had before.

But I do have the scrolling bug that when you try to scroll down, it slowly scroll back up on it own, unless I click on the scroll bar on the right, some it stop and I can open shows description.

LONSat Now|Primetime|Daytime has been there for a while. Odd the grid was blank for me until I toggled between 3 and 6 hours but 6 hours would populate after toggling once. Yes pgdn is broken but I also find that if I use the mouse wheel and stop that the page will slowly rewind.
