ExDilbert My experience is that there isn't a lot of difference between the major VPN providers. Most offer servers in major internet connected countries and a wide variety of services. Some may offer special features or be tailored specifically for activities such as geo-restricted video streaming. One issue that often isn't mentioned in reviews is throughput speed. People that have high speed plans may be disappointed to find that VPNs can slow connection speeds considerably. That may vary by server, country or time of day.

grubntech I have been using PIA and have been satisfied, but I am looking for some extra accounts for kodi use in different homes.

www.vpnpick.com is offering me a 3 year deal on Purevpn from the mailing list. any experience with them? they also seem to have a deal for expressvpn but I rather go cheaper than that, 3 years is good to set and forget!

Monsieur Rioux I've been using Hoxx (with Firefox) for a while too. Great for getting UK telly.

There's a VPN add-on called Beebs that works on Chrome browsers. But with Opera, there's an add-on that enables other chrome add-ons and Beebs works that way.

The Beebs name comes from BBC but if it works for BBC - and it does - then it ought to work for other things...at least for UK sites.

ExRobotGuy No problem 'The Hans'. I visited Penticton last year and loved the area.

ExRobotGuy Sorry, but I forgot!

Opera, at least for macOS, has a built-in FREE VPN. if that is what you need, there ya go!

ExRobotGuy I just read this. https://www.reddit.com/r/vpnreviews/...browser_addon/

It only works in certain browsers and anything done outside of the browser will be through ones reg. INP, so definitely not useful for me.

I'd suggest Hoxx. It's free and not only for a week. It's just free. You have to register though. It offers many, many different countries for the IP address if that's of interest to you. It works. I've been using it for years.

ExRobotGuy Any 'FREE' VPN service I've tried is only free for a week-long trial. Not worth the effort unless that is the length of time you need it for.

ExRobotGuy The moral force I was referring to was my wife!!!

T-City In that case, either one of the VPN services I mentioned will work well for you. They are specifically set up to protect you in case you happen to make a mistake and cross a moral threshold (because no one is perfect 100% of the time).
