Dr.Dave A followup to Designated Survivor, which aired on ABC for 2 seasons before being cancelled.

Designated Survivor will return for a third season of 10 episodes as a global Netflix original, going into production later this year and launching in 2019. Seasons 1 and 2 come exclusively to Netflix in the U.S. and Canada this Fall, giving them global rights for the first 2 seasons as well.

The press release doesn't mention if the production will stay in Toronto or not.

Inglewood And now the countdown is on to see what desperate network picks up Roseanne...

I assume she will make the talk-show rounds in the next few weeks asking for forgiveness, and within the year some network or content provider will pick her up.

It seems that everyone accepts racists eventually when money and entertainment are involved.

eOne In Talks To Save 'Designated Survivor' After ABC Cancellation | Deadline

Netflix has the rights outside the U.S. and Canada, so they may pick it up.

I read somewhere else that Kiefer Sutherland has a clause in his contract that the production would move from Toronto to California after 2 years, which would make it much more expensive to produce - probably one reason why ABC cancelled it. I wounder if Sutherland would drop that clause.

According to Tbaytel’s online guide. What Would You Do is what ABC is showing at the Quantico’s time.
