Michael R. Using the Guide seemed to make both the SD and HD channels into Favourites. I solved this by not using the Guide. I went to each SD channel on the TV and used the "D" button to remove it as a favourite.

SakeW I fail to see any problem with favourite channels, in Illico 2 by default the guide will show the SD and HD channel link but the HD channel will be highlight in yellow and if you favorite a channel , only the HD channel is favorite.
If you favorite for example Space,Showcase and Comedy and you cycle between them, it will be 701-Space HD, 705-Showcase HD and 727-Comedy HD.

Favourite channels SD vs HD

I needed to replace my mother-in-laws old videotron box with a Cisco 4645 because the old box could not do the frequencies of some HD channels. The newer interface is nice, but I have one difficulty to solve. I wanted to set all the HD channels as favourites so that she could use the Favourites button to cycle through her channels. The method for doing so involves using the guide to find the channel and then use the "D" button to add it to favourites. The guide, however, shows both the SD and HD channel at the same time, so both become favourites. Is their a way around this?

Thanks in advance.
