Pause Live TV
Not sure if anyone else has received this app feature yet but I do seem to get them early. The new feature provides PVR like features (Pause, FF, REW) when watching live TV in the Fibe app. This new feature is great for me since I watch a lot of live TV on the app. I've had it enabled for roughly a week and it works great.
My Android app hasn't been updated since August so it appears that the new feature is already built in and only needs to be activated by Bell. So if you don't have it now, it should appear fairly soon.

Greetings from new member forum post. I'm a recent Bell ON FTTH internet and fibe tv subscriber.
I'll post my user frustration with Bell tech support, Home Hub 3000 reliability & Fibe TV 2505 wireless performance when I have more time.
Can anyone tell me how to enable surround sound running the Bell tv app on Apple tv? All content sources are PCM 2.0.
I can't find any option in the Bell app settings unlike the Fibe Wireless Receiver 2505 settings.
Appreciate any advice.

both those channels are licensed for "at home" live viewing only. Are you sure your device is using your Bell Fibe internet connection? Here is the list of channels and how each is available - click "View all channels."

|Dayz95||To anyone who uses the Bell Fibe TV app - are Silver Screen Classics HD (ch.1337) and MyTv Buffalo (ch.1293) showing up as "not authorized"? I am able to view the respective channels no problem on my receivers, but via the TV app it is giving me issues.|

Has anyone tried it from an outside their home Bell network to confirm it is locked this way?
I noticed this the other day when I went to record something on the Fibe App but haven't had the chance to test and play with it yet.

|control||Went on my Fibe TV app (android) this morning and the app had a popup message that it is now compatible with chromecast. It works, I have Bell Fibe TV, Internet... not sure if it works outside my home. Maybe someone from this forum can try at a friend place who isn't a bell customer.|

according to Bell's web site you need the PVR for Fibe TV, but you can use the Fibe TV app for additional TVs. I don't recall seeing a version of the app for LG. Are you sure there is one?

Just moved into a newly-built basement apartment with Bell FTTH being my only internet option, and the OTA reception I previously relied on for TV is unreliable.
If I subscribe to the $25 basic Fibe TV service, can I view everything through my LG TV’s Bell Fibe app without needing a separate receiver? Bell’s $20/month rental would push the total bill to over $50 with tax, just for basic channels that would otherwise be free.

|mgut||Just tried this on Saturday and it worked, Bell Fibe from tv.bell.ca from a laptop to a Chromecast not on my home network. Worked perfectly! I had the same access to channels as I have on the app when not on my home network. Only issues I had was I wasn't able to watch anything recorded from my PVR for some reason. Luckily, I was able to find what I wanted on demand when I searched for it (A & E's 60 days in) so problem was solved!|

|Dr.Dave||@Argonaught83 try connecting the Apple TV or Nvidia Shield TV directly to the HH3000 temporarily. It could be that Bell doesn't recognize that the Google Home WiFi is on the same network and is giving yo a generic message.|

|ExDilbert||Maybe the Fibe app still thinks the plan is limited. Have you rebooted the Nvidia Shield since the new Fibe installation? If that doesn't work, I would uninstall and reinstall the Fibe app.|

Advanced DMZ and Bell Fibe TV on Apple / Shield TV
I just got Fibe Internet and TV installed, with unlimited usage (Gigabit package).
I have the HH3000 configured in Advanced DMZ mode with my Google WiFi router receiving a WAN IP address and providing NAT for the the rest of my network. WiFi on the HH3000 is turned off.
I have an Nvidia Shield TV connected to the Google Home WiFi. Whenever I try to watch something I get the error message
"Unlimited internet usage is required to watch Fibe TV on this device"
Could this be due to the enhanced DMZ?

Fibe TV App - Unable to watch downloads and error codes
I'm not sure if this question has been asked before (so sorry if not posted in correct place) but I recently downloaded a few programs to watch on my phone - I was able to start watching a couple, then later when I returned to finish watching them and then watch new recordings I get error message 1009j/103. Has anyone else experienced this and know what to do? I'm particularly annoyed because I downloaded these to watch while travelling abroad. I am well within the limit for number of devices and no programs have been downloaded to any other device.
