jcwrmm $8.00. But it allows recording from the west coast when I do multiple recordings during the same time slot.

tvmaster How much is Time Shift again?
2019-06-15 06:03 PM
mellaby jcwrmm, I've got the same package as you. I don't like the cost of the Time Shift and, if I louse any more programming with G1 I think I'll have to give up SD.

I believe technically, they are allowed 2x from the same time zone and 1x for timeshifting as Rogers carries both WTVS and WNED in Ontario and KCTS for timeshifting. Whether Shaw Direct does this remains to be seen.

I remember years ago Shaw Direct would let you swap the FOX feeds as well. For example, you could choose Seattle stations and FOX Spokane or Spokane stations and FOX Seattle. Same was true when Shaw Direct carried FOX Rochester and FOX Detroit.
I have the Small TV package with the Time Shift Spokane bundle and get all 4 PBS Stations.

CNBC, I think we're trying to work in this year - if not, it too will be 2020.

These do not have an HD feed, but would become HD if ever available:

Book Television
ESPN Classic
Fashion Television
Northern Legislative Assembly
Avis de Recherche (AdR)
Canal Savoir

(also the Adult services, with the exception of Playboy TV which will be HD on June 25).

The Ethnic channels are not planned to convert to HD.

LONSat The only remaining HD channels left will be CNBC, Fashion a bunch of CTV stations mainly in Atlantic Canada, Windsor CBC and CTV2, Rural and a couple other French and English small market locals. Oh and some of the ethnic, third language channels.

mark_42 So what are the HD conversions that are scheduled for 2020? The only information for us is to Oct 2019.
2019-06-14 10:24 AM
LONSat I converted and it was painless.

k801809 Harlock76 is correct - the original plan was to migrate Advanced customers this week, but that has been postponed to November. You can opt in by calling or chatting in (chat recommended) - the change should only take a couple of minutes.

harlock76 you can call or chat with them online and ask for it right now the new lineup is available right now ( i have it) but it's the automatic upgrade to it that's been postponed to fall

National Channel Lineup

What exactly is the schedule for Shaw converting customers to the one National Lineup. I heard that they have advanced customers and classic customers auto converting, but when? exactly. Has anyone here been converted yet.
I personally like the idea, as having different channels lineups to means seems strange;

I have tried to hide the Standard Def channels if there is an HD equivalent, but that is a pain...

k801809 Yes! Rural is on the list, for the last bunch of HD upgrades coming in early 2020.
