firmware 42.47

I see a new firmware has loaded on my receivers--version 42.47. A quick search found nothing. Anybody have any info on this?

sports addict I called today , they made a few tests and their conclusion was that station 070 and 092wasnt part of the OVP , that's the reason why they dont show up on the guide . They told me that i'm not suppose to have those stations, to see this whole situation as a bonus since i dont pay for those stations ( two station that i'm not suppose to have ) and i have them for free . That's the best they were able to do .

byron If you call in and mention you're missing certain channels, they should walk you through processes to troubleshoot and would eventually determine its a V-Code issue on their own. Call during the day if you can, as if you're calling at night you may get someone who's not as familiar with the issue you're having..

Just some suggestions that might help..

sports addict The Guide upgrade works fine for me too . I have the OVP and my only problem is that i still dont get certain stations on the guide ( ex : 070 and 092 ) . It was the same thing with the old guide and i was hoping that the upgrade would fix the problem , but no .

starchoice No problems. It's just a new guide and getting used to a new interface. Should be less than an hour.

Shaw Direct receiver firmware upgrade

Has anyone downloaded this upgrade? Any problems?

When I turn on my shaw receiver I get a notice that by August 17th or so I will have to take this upgrade. The notice says the upgrade will take an hour or so.
