cafebrad True. But you don't have to have the balls to flash a rom. Just use nova or any other 3rd party launcher and set it up how u like

There is one downside (for a tinkerer) to the avalanche of the Android handsets released every month:
a critical mass of a certain model has to be sold before xda-developers get interested in modding it.

Unless you can do the modding yourself, of course...

OTOH, if your phone comes with CyanogenMod preinstalled, you might not need any modding

cafebrad unless you really love Samsungs touchwiz there is little reason to go for tizen. one of the great aspects of android is its themes/launchers/fonts/widgets. if tizen looks good for u then there will likely be an option to mimic it on any phone and keep your access to the google ecosystem. for instance an Oppo 7 with a new launcher. beautiful high end hardware thats different than the norm ( and relatively cheaper) ...... its all up to you

Wayne So people are debating whether there is value in going to 4K in large screen TVs and yet we have smartphones being released with resolution higher than 1080p?

About the same size as iPhone 5 but 4.5"/FHD screen.
Could be an indication what the (rumored) 4.7" iPhone 6 will look like...
