Since I use the iPod infrequently, I had a backlog of messages on iMessage which had already been answered on the iPad. The iPod and iPad are on the same account. Once the backlog cleared the iMessage and FaceTime began working again on the iPad. My account must have reached a limit.
Will have to turn on iPod more often and keep it clean.

Lost iMessage and Facetime
Ipad2 running ios6. Since late last week, FaceTime "no connection" now iMessage doesn't work either. Good wifi connection and all other apps work. My iPod 4Gen on ios6 still works iMessage and FaceTime.
Apple Communities have lots of complaints. Any word from Apple for a fix?

|99semaj||I have an iPad3 (iOS6) with data plans on both Bell (North America/LTE) and Orange (HSPA+/Europe). No runaway usage on either network. My Orange plan is smaller (1GB) so it probably would have manifested itself by now.|

Anyone else have the red badge app icon (I think?) pop up after answering any incoming call? I cancelled my call display and now after every call, it shows the red circle with the number in it, as though I've missed a call. Very annoying.

I think that only affected the Verizon model (CDMA+LTE).

Judging from the developers comments, this is an Air Video problem not an iOS6 problem.

Air video is the standard that all iOS video is compared against. For it to be suddenly having issues is an oversight.
