jackstowage Thanks. Looks like I will have to stick to satellite. Too many unknowns and too much teething pain shown by other providers.

classicsat I think they are doing Fibre to the Neighbourhood and putting DSLAMS there, or significantly increasing the bandwidth to existing CO switches. They were digging up Kincardine the past couple months to bury fibre.

High bandwidth DSL from the CO or neighbourhood DSLAM over copper to the home, ethernet or wireless to the STB.

Bruce Telecom to offer digital TV

If Bruce Telecom is to offer a succussful Digital package what would they need to provide?

They have fibre but I'm not sure if they will fibre to the premise or use Cat5/wireless. They are looking to start offering and debugging in 2008.

I read about problems running several tvs and internet connection due to copper lines slowing it down.

Others say to stick with the satellite providers for HDTV.
