dabell I great remote option is Flirc - usb IR receiver that is simple to program via their GUI. Program to any remote, I use older DVD remotes for use with my RaspPi XMBC boxes.

ExDilbert MCE remotes work with Win8. They usually include some mouse functions but a real mouse is much easier to use. A wireless keyboard with mouse pad may be a better bet. Some are about the size of a remote.

Intel computer on a stick... Reminds me of an Android stick but for Win8 and Linux. It has some interesting potential for use as an HTPC. Maybe OpenELEC will run on it. I'm just wondering what the price point is. If it's mush more than Android sticks, it will miss the market. Knowing Intel, it will be overpriced like their NUC devices.

habskilla Is there such a thing as a Ruko 3/WebTV remote to control Windows 8? Essentially, a wireless mouse but in the form factor of a remote?

talljak Interesting, great way to take your PC with you. Just need a Bluetooth keyboard / mouse. Very affordable idea and everyone already has a TV.

Wonder if it will catch on mainstream
