NineBall I've been meaning to but haven't had the time to try it: there is a project on sourceforge called sip2yac which will forward the VoIP call info to YAC listeners. You install sip2yac as a server (can be on the same machine) along with Pcap (libPcap or WinPcap) to capture the incoming SIP call and the YAC client/addin to get the display on your HTPC. Install the 4 programs in this order:

WinPcap
sip2yac
YAC client/MC addin

If it works let us know. It'll save me testing time and I can skip straight to implementation

VoIP Call Display on HTPC

I recently started subscribing to voip.ms for my home phone service. Love it!

I also have an HTPC connected to my TV and I'm wondering if there is a way to add Call Display (Caller ID), in order to announce incoming calls? I tried adding a softphone (3CX) but the Call Display is very poor (small display in the system tray) and I don't want to make or receive calls, so in that respect a softphone is overkill.

What I really need is a small applet that just does call display, big and bold. I can then add that to a ring group on voip.ms.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Mark.
