XM Canada Renewal - What I got??

Why is there no Thread with this title? Is it impossible to get a deal with the XM side of SiriusXM Canada?
I ask because I have been a subscriber of Sirius for many years, but now I have purchased a motor-home with an XM radio in it, and plan on subscribing to XM in the Spring, when camping season begins in Canada again.
I assume you still can't combine Sirius and XM into one account but has anyone ever received a "deal" with XM (if so then why no thread)?.
Is there any problem getting just a 6 month subscription with XM?
I'd like to get comments here before I actually call XM.

I got my XM renewed for $125.14 (Alberta GST + Music Fee included) on October 4.
I said I want the SELECT79 deal I saw on Redflagdeals.com

I have an XM radio in my car, but my account is with XM USA. I've been doing the 5 months for $29 deal for the last few years. My car was bought new in the US, so that might have made it easier to set up the account initially.

I've renewed 3 years in a row for $105 all-in in Quebec. It seems to me that your Alberta deal could have been better considering Quebec sales tax is 10%.

Best I could get was 165 for one year...plus royalty and taxes. I have since cancelled and so far don't miss it much but a 79 dollar offer could lure me back for a year or so...but no way I am phoning them again....if they want me back they can contact me. I figure after 7 years as a full paying customer I have earned that. That's what monopoly's do...screw us.

With a deal like this I wouldn't have to try for a 6 month subscription for my camper.

Just renewed again through the U.S. - $25 for 5 months and no GST. Also, pick an address in the States with no taxes and you pay no local taxes as well.

I pay by credit card. You can give them a credit card number and you will then not have to pay the $2 invoice fee. You can also ask for a one-time payment and they remove your cc info from your file.
