Never used it since it was installed. I also uninstalled it last week to save space.

I uninstalled it about an hour after attempting to use it. I tried to call my friend in UAE. The app connected but all I could hear was broken bits of audio. Why did they make it when Google Hangouts serves the same purpose?

Was the problem due to the app? Or the connection? I have used it without issue.

I haven't lost my mind. It's around here...somewhere...

Probably the app. I used it on my old Sony Xperia L though but it was in good condition.

We switched over to hangouts and connection was established in a jiffy.

Actually, when I got rid of my LG G3 and got a Samsung A8, google duo was pre-installed (but not bloatware), and I noticed many people on my contact lists were also registered to google duo,. and I have since used that for cross platform video calling to replace Skype. I have used Google Duo in other countries in north america and it works great. I have decided to make it my primary video calling app and am getting rid of skype completely, skype is too tedious to use
