Guess this is a Halloween trick because I checked 3 minutes after you posted and the 16GB is NOT available.

I have a GNex, would love to upgrade. Will wait a week or 2 to see what the real reviews are. Never had an LG phone before

32 GB in White can back for a minute as well. I was looking for the Black 32GB.
It appears you just need to keep refreshing between the 4 options and maybe your luck will prevail.

DX.com has cheap accessories for Nexus 5.
Free shipping from Hong Kong.
Delivery on average for me is anywhere from 2 to 5 weeks whenever I have used them, but their prices for me make the wait worthwhile.

Free shipping direct from Hong Kong/ China

$2.50

Much cheaper than the $35 google wants.

I also bought a "Qi" charger to save wear and tear on the USB port during charging.

@$24 much cheaper than $50 or more in stores.

You'll also need a USA wall plug to USB converter plug if you don't have one laying around...

It was there. I ordered two. It looks like they're allowing orders sporadically to avoid overselling. I'm sure it'll be back, but it'll sell fast again.

I believe you. Just annoyed at Google. Being sold out in 15 minutes suggests to me some very poor planning. Last year they sold out in less than an hour so its not like this was unexpected!

Why can't they just take orders and fill those orders as new supply comes in? And, of course, they would give you an approximate ETA when you're ordering the phone.

Wonder if they will say how many they had?

I got a 32gb white one

Apparently all models sold out in 27 minutes.

I think it was inevitable to sell out. i also dont think its googles goal is to fill the market with a cheap phone and kill its market friends samsung etc.

Ever wondered why that must have toy at Christmas is so hard to get? It because supplies are kept at a point where they will sell out, but at a point that is financially acceptable without causing too much annoyance to customers. This gives the impression that everyone is buying them thus inflating demand and creating a vicious circle, which ultimately gets the manufacture sales/profits that pleases shareholders, but minimises risk of producing a flop and being stuck with lots of stock (I'm looking at you Microsoft Surface).

I was waiting for Nexus 5 release before I made my final decision.... it was really down to the Nexus 5 or Galaxy Note 3.

I like the idea of a pure Google experience but a few shortfalls in the Nexus 5 I'm not too excited about. No SD expansion, no replaceable battery, lesser camera than Note 3. Leaning towards Note 3.... will wait for a few reviews first.
