In all fairness, this "analyst" doesn't really state anything to prove his point, and it comes off as pure speculation.
First off, RIM has been saying BB10 would be released in Q1 2013; which means between January-March. If they release it within this timeframe, it's not technically delayed further than what they said during the earnings call in June.
Secondly, Thorsten Hines has said publicly at BlackBerry JAM Americas that BB10 devices were being sent to carriers for testing early this month. Given how fast mobile technology is advancing, 5-6 months for this to be completed is an eternity.
RIM is at a point now where anything that gets said about them (whether factual or not) is going to have a big impact on their stock prices. Either way, they still have enough cash on hand to survive a few more months until BB10 is released. At that point, we'll see how it does.
