Multiple user accounts coming to Android?

Quote:
Multi-user support is one of the few remaining things a desktop OS can do that Android can't. The "coffee table tablet" use case would greatly benefit from a multi-user setup, as would an enterprise user who wants to keep work and home separate.

After a bit of research, I can tell you that Google is listening. There is a surprising amount of multi-user work being done on Android - some of it is even working on devices right now.
Android Police has accumulated a substantial amount of evidence that this is coming. For many home tablet users, multi-user support could mean purchasing one or two fewer tablets, and potentially saving hundreds of dollars.

Very excited for this. Was my on my wish list for awhile. I don't want my kids to have access to my emails. Twitter and crackbook.PayPal eBay etc etc...

Then I can also hide zombie games on their account as well.

Oh, well, I was always thinking that phone sharing is something like toothbrush sharing, but apparently people want it!

^^^^
I think this is more likely aimed at tablets but, yes, some people have a cell phone for family use.

Yeah, as the article said, this is directed more at tablets. Tablets are much more expensive than subsidized phones, and, like laptops, they can be shared among multiple people in a family.
