Nope, it has already been announced that
ICS will be the last one supported.

Any improvements in Jelly bean around answering and using the phone???

What I really hate about ICS is the Phone functionality. In Gingerbread, the phone app was pretty easy to use. Since ICS, I have never been comfortable with the images and how clumsy the phone interface is with little ability to tweak.

FYI, I hate drawing the little circle to the side to answer my phone. Funny that I will likely avoid Android next time around because I can't easily operate the phone functionality!

I have the Nexus so I assume it's stock ICS.

On the Galaxy Nexus you just slide the unlock key to the right to answer a call.

I have just updated my Wind Nexus S and it seems to be working fine. I had to force the update by following this procedure, (as copied from another un-named forum) which, for me, worked on the 2nd try.

(Nexus s i9023 -> 4.0.4)

1. System settings
2. Apps
3. all
4. Google-Service-Framework
5. Delete Data
6. Force stop
7. go to Homescreen
8. System settings
9. about Phone
10. System-up dates (last time of updatechecking should be 01.01.1970)
11. Check now
12. if not work go to point 1.

It took me about 10 minutes to get Jelly Bean on my phone. it works great and smoothly as hell.

cya and good luck

If you don't like the stock dialler, you can replace it with any of countless apps on the Play Store. I don't think there's anything you can do about the dragging the circle though, at least without being rooted or using a custom ROM.

It's all subjective of course, but I like the circle. It's not really different from dragging the slider across on Android 2.X, but I think the circle looks nicer than the sliders.

I don't know if this is news or not but Jelly Bean on my GN "hears" V6 RA packets ( from my router) and will correctly go to IPV6 sites via wifi. I guess this is good as sooner or later the carriers will have V6 hardware/software running if only to ease the pain of NAT for a billion mobile phone users.

I believe Go Launcher has lock screen app call Go Locker that you can use to adjust your lock screen preferences.
