Was the price adjusted automatically?

Is this going to set a new bar for tablet pricing? Once the dust settles, will people go back to iPad pricing? I have a feeling that this may have a lasting effect.

Explain how this would set a new bar for pricing as this product is being discontinued?

And being sold at a steep loss. These aren't gaming consoles where the loss can be recouped through software sales.

Exactly.

The analogy. Just because last seasons ugly clothes that no one wanted are being cleared out at your local retailer for 80% doesn't mean people expect that on the new clothes being put out on the rack.

HP has yet to send out any 32gb units, from what I've heard, so I'm still waiting to see..

HP's business decisions aside, all this sale has done is reaffirm my lack of faith in society.
The greed is insane out there.
People have bought 10, 15, 25 at a time and turning around to sell them on kijiji, etc for double+ the price.

Nothing wrong with society. These things are only special at their super cheap price. The market ought to confirm you can't sell them at $200 or $300.

There are plenty of bids up to 275 dollars on eBay for the Touchpad. Could be shell bidding. The market will straighten it out. I'm not buying at 250 or 200and I'm not jumping for joy at 150 for a 32GB. with the keyboard, touchstone and taxes it's 350 bucks. That's already too much and I don't even have the 50 dollar case. I will not be too unhappy if the sale falls through.

What cases are you guys going for? I see the official HP case. But I like those Ipad cases which have a built in keyboard.
