Yes I added the market (sorry, didn't consider that a fix). Since I ran the ACMEUninstaller first I put the Alpha, the GAPPS ICS file, moboot and CWM altogether when I ran ACMEInstaller2.

Got bored and installed it - love it!

I have a feeling webos will never be booted again, lol.

Update: Only major downside - wifi has randomly disconnected and won't connect again

Don't know if this will help, but after you get your wifi going again, go to Wifi Settings, hit Menu, then Advanced Settings, and make sure Keep Wifi One During Sleep is set to ALWAYS. Mine was defaulted that way, but who knows.

Mine was on that by default as well, first thing I checked

Thanks for the idea, though.

It's intermittent.. when I wrote that message I had rebooted 3x and no go.
I just booted it up again now and it worked fine.

Update: looks like "working fine" just meant an icon. I tried to open a webpage, nada. Hopefully less issues as more releases come

Funny I had a wifi disconnect today. The TP was sitting on my Touchstone charger. I got it going again by switching Wifi off and then on again in Settings.

Think I discovered the issue. The second I turned off my laptop, wifi icon popped up. Must be some kind of interference between the two. My phone is fine though, sitting in close proximity to the TP.

Alpha 0.5 is out. It bundles the previous fixes plus a few others.

My early readings on .5 revealed many complaints about wifi issues. From posters that never had issues on previous builds..

Ill wait a day or two before upgrading..

Likely the issues I've been seeing with a0, they just dodged a bullet last time.
While I had previously reported success when turning off the laptop, it still took a good 15 mins of rebooting and toggling to get connected.

Did you guys do fresh installs? I had no choice and I even had to WebOS Doctor my TP. But maybe that helped me to avoid problems.

XRON ICS vs CM9 ICS ???

I'm currently running the XRON 2.9.1 version and very happy with how it's operating. I'm planning to update to ICS this week-end, and despite all I've read on the various sites, I'm undecided as to whether to go with the XRON ICS (Classicnerd v0.0.2) or the CM9 (Alpha 0.5). Any feedback on either (or from anyone who's tried both) would be greatly appreciated

Thanks in advance !

I was on Xron 2.9.1 before and really liked it. For now though I am on CM9 0.6. I figure the CM team will be first to fix issues, etc, so stick with them until things like hardware acceleration are fixed. At that point if Xron has something that looks better, I'll switch over like I did with CM7.

Thanks for the advice. I installed CM9 0.6 last night and so far so good. Everything is working as it should. The one thing I do miss is Netflix due to no hardware acceleration. I see that the Xron group have released their latest Classicnerd "Buttery Biscuit" version. Think I'll hold off on that till the dust settles and I see some reviews.
