I'm sorry about the situation and hope they have given you some remedy by now. I'm in Ontario and not familiar with MTS BUT just did have one thing to say about the LG phone. I'm on a shared plan with Telus with my husband. On 2 occasions, he also had web browsing charges on his phone. He is not technically inclined at all, does not use a regular computer and never used web browsing on his cell phone. In this case, Telus was nice enough to reverse the charges and they also put a block on his phone so he is unable to access web browsing. Just a thought, maybe MTS could do that for you? Of course if there are times you want to use web browsing it wouldn't work, but just a thought if it's a feature you're not using.
