Question Regarding HD Boxes!! (Activating Rogers STB on Videotron)

Hey All,
Not too long ago I purchased a Rogers HD Box, but now I live in an area where Rogers is not available. My only option is Videotron's Illico cable. I really dont feel like dishing out more money for a new HD box and noticed that they both use scientific atlanta boxes. So my question is, is it possible to use a Rogers HD box with videotron or is there a way to convert it?

Videotron uses only their own boxes.

Although Videotron uses SA, I don't believe they activate Rogers STBs. Call them to get confirmation - ask for "second level technician" or something similar since the front line CSRs will not likely know:
